Where our app data comes from

App names, developer names, icons, screenshots, descriptions, version numbers, file sizes, age ratings, prices, release and update dates, user rating scores, and rating counts shown on apptidal are drawn from public sources, primarily the Apple iTunes Search API and publicly available Google Play listing information. This metadata is supplied by the developers and the stores, not by apptidal.

We retrieve this information periodically and cache it to keep our pages fast. Because of that, figures such as price, rating, and availability are point-in-time snapshots that can become outdated between refreshes. The store listing is always the authoritative source. If a number here disagrees with the store, trust the store.

Search results, categories, and platform pages are generated automatically from this catalog data. Inclusion of an app in our index is not an endorsement, and the absence of an app does not imply any judgement about it.
